Introducing HSA Certificates

With growing concerns over healthcare costs, having something to fall back on can offer peace of mind. An HSA (Health Savings Account) offers that peace of mind by helping you prepare for costs — both expected and unexpected.

An HSA Overview

  • A high deductible healthcare plan (HDHP) is required to be eligible
  • Qualified contributions are tax-deductible
  • Withdrawals used for qualified medical expenses are tax-free
  • The accountholder cannot be enrolled in Minsurance coverage

In addition to our HSA checking account, Provident is pleased to offer a new option: HSA Add-On Certificates.

HSA Certificates

Our new HSA certificates offer the same competitive rates as our Add-On Certificates, with a low minimum opening deposit of $250. Terms of 12 and 24 months are available and dividends can be transferred from your Provident HSA checking account. Funds can be withdrawn without penalty at maturity, making it an excellent investment vehicle for long-term savings for unexpected medical expenses.

HSA Checking

This flexible account pays a competitive dividend and enables you to withdraw funds whenever needed for qualified medical expenses.
